WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11 REVIEWS OUT Talking of Windows Media Player 11, which we were, briefly, Digital Music News have reviewed an early copy of the new player and are generally positive in their opinions of it - saying that the enhancements on "graphic usability" are good, that there is a pretty good search function, that the device synchronization and CD burning functions are "highly intuitive" and that, generally speaking, it all seemed to work OK (which in itself is quite rare for new Microsoft products). I gave up on WMP when I realised what a drain it was on my CPU... At times it was pushing my CPU usage up to 80%+! I switched to winamp and never looked back.
Search function... Why? So you have 50 000 songs on your PC. And? They're alphabetisised, no?
I really fail to see the need for that, unless you are really badly organised with your music, and in that case, I think you don't deserve a search function.
