An album I bought today by Oh No! Oh My!
I reckon they're going to follow the same pattern of success as Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, so I thought I'd get their album while it's sitll self-released biggrin.gif It's really good, very melodic, laid-back and Shins-y with some nice synth.

'Jump' by Van Halen; now that's some nice synth.

Both are, of course, eclipsed by Europe's 'The Final Countdown'.

LiamMc- 08-07-2006
I don't have that yet. But I do have 'Sussudio'. Oh yes.

No its gotta be OMD's -Enola Gay. The synth lines on that are brill.

LiamMc- 08-07-2006
Yeah I've got that on one of the cd's. It is brilliant.

Any other suggestions welcome. I think I might have got the majority of "80's Classics".

Kraftwerk- the Model

Its on R1, now.

Just managed to track down KC Accidental - Anthems For The Could've Been Pills. They are the band Kevin Drew was in before Broken Social Scene - long, sedate but really nice post-rock.

Mansun- Legacy

From the new greatest hits, love em!

The Microphones - The Glow pt.2

When I interviewed Mark from volcano! he said one of the band's favourite albums was by The Microphones. I keep meaning to find some of their stuff.

Back on topic:

'Live At The Voodoo Room' - Double album featuring Sunderland's finest bands. I've listened to some right crap today, so after I finish writing stuff about this decidedly average compilation I'm going sit in silence for a while; then blast Slayer out at a ridiculous volume.
