Mudhoney- Under A Billion Suns

I'd been quite happy with my choice to attend the second ATP weekend until I heard this. Then I heard Electrelane had been added to the bill for weekend 2 and that picked up my spirits!
Plus it looks like we're playing the '80p Festival' now, set to coincide with the first weekend. Bonus!

Radiohead-The National Anthem

Yep Mudhoney are still surprisingly spry and inventive in their old age, back on Sub Pop and the album is plain excellent. Much closer to the glorious Melvins dirge of something like Tomorrow Hit Today than Superfuzz Bigmuff, but awesome nonetheless.

80p sounds a nice alternative to the terrible britpop revival that seems to be afoot in this 'ere town... expect noise!

Clunes
Somewhere, very far away and very hard to find, there is a planet: Clunes.
This beautiful but turbulent planet is populated by organisms (Clunes) who live for exactly one day. Each day the Clunes wake, work, relax, procreate and then die, wiped out in an enormous global war.

I've got right back into Mars Volta - Frances The Mute now, listening to it a lot in the last few days.

Islands, the group featuring ex-members of The Unicorns and The Arcade Fire, and indeed it's a mixture of the best bits of both bands: it's got The Unicorns' weird humour and The Arcade Fire's epicness. Their album 'Return To The Sea' is my current favourite of 2006 (it's out in April).

The Delays new album, but not through choice. Apparently I'm supposed to be reviewing it for another site. It's roundly dull, thus far.

Matthew Dear - The Crush.

Audion is his alter-ego. I'm thinking that I prefer that. Sarah likes her hard techno.
