Faces of the anti-scene revolution, The Veez have got IT. They've recorded with producer YOUTH (The Verve, Embrace, Primal Scream etc), played Glastonbury and now the first single, Rockstar, is released in Autumn. They are one of the contender bands on the Once Upon Another album. The Veez not only kick arse, but with hot as hell tunes (as their recent appearance on Earwax Radio proved). "THE NEXT GREAT BRITISH ALL GIRL GROUP?" asked The Fly Magazine last month. The Veez belong on top, as this show will prove.

Mad Staring Eyes - "They sound like the Virgin Radio and XFM playlists - combined by some kind of mad scientist..." NME. MAD STARING EYES sing about self-worth in the modern world, delivered with punk energy and irreverent humour which won them a Glastonbury slot. Then their self-titled debut EP led to SXSW festival in Texas. They've recorded at Konk Studios, home of The Kinks' Ray Davies and played a US tour. This show sets up the next stage in their story!

Chris Chinchilla hosts this launch to the month of take art and party vibes that is Artful. His band, Macaca Mulatta, (Chris - guitar/vocals, Jim Rhesus - bass/vocals, Arran J Lovechild - drums) were rapidly formed to support The Rakes after Chinchilla left Art Brut, and London Punks, Rhesus, imploded. Chris Chinchilla also plays solo sets, creates art installations and, like tonight, is a damn fine spoken word performer. Interaction encouraged.
