2. he's talking about the SELF CONFESSED ones. and they do exist in abundance. i went to a private grammar school for 4 years, and i was surrounded by the fuckers. people drivin to school in their 25 grand cars when theyre 17. its sick.
QUOTE (Queueman @ Mar 4 2005, 01:47 AM)
I went to a school in Hale Barns, known for the numerous millionaires and footballers that live there
QUOTE (Queueman @ Mar 4 2005, 12:02 PM)
Yet the only real point i wish to make was for people not to generalise and let prejudices bias there view on life, like dont presume that Rich=Snob and Poor=Chav...I would say that the chav/snob are the extreme wrong of their respected class... And Heroin??.... I F##king hate the stuff soooooooooo badly...
QUOTE
yes-bloody heroin. I was reading in the paper last week that the UK has the worst heroin problem in Europe. it's sad isn't it.
QUOTE (Mark L @ Mar 4 2005, 03:09 PM)
But if you are brought up correctly, and stay true to your own values then you can end up being proud of how you conduct yourself. What really annoys me is when kids who are collared for anti social behaviour use the whole 'oh we are poor and bored' get out. Or there is this glamour given to street kids and yobbos, with this whole 'working class glamour get out clause'.

I managed to do OK for myself without hanging about on buses all day, etching on windows, and picking fights. Its all down to the individual.
QUOTE (Queueman @ Mar 4 2005, 03:23 PM)
As you said, its down to the individual..i avoided the scummy lifestyle..yet i think its because, and i know it may sound arrogant, their simply not as intelligent as you or i..they are weak minded sheep who tend to go along with the crowd in a bid to look cool because their normally young lads/girls who cant really think for themselves and they follow the crowd.. Ive seen it happen soo much to so many polite young kids who lived near me..i was about 5 yrs older, say i was about 16 and they were about 11 just going into secondary school, and i honestly enjoyed the friendly neighbours kick about we had.I know see them just three years later and theyve become cocky little thieving chavs which sickens me to the stomach..

but that's something I'm talking about. people becoming something because of society around them.

And richey, I can read, I did see he said self-confessed, but then trolling out the silver spoon stereotype is the sort of misinformed disrespect I'm talking about. even if, which it was, of course, an attempt at humour.
QUOTE (Queueman @ Mar 4 2005, 07:34 PM)
Oh an still dont get why us Lower classed should have respect for certain members, not all of them, of the upper class anyways?,they look down their nose at us..id say that this is often misinformed disrespect wouldnt you?
QUOTE
Just to reiterate, it is not my belief - nor ever was it - that lower classes = poor = chavs/scum.
QUOTE
You're doing it yourself now.
QUOTE
I'm starting to think that society is very slowly falling back into a society divided clearly by class. The lower classes seem to have a lot more disregard for the higher classes now than at other times in my life, I feel, but are now proud about it and don't want to move up. Why? Look at your children for gods sake. |
QUOTE
I'm not saying it's their fault either. I'm quesitoning WHY it's happened that the society that is shaping more and more people is a society that seems to be spawning more and more scum. |
