About the album, I know that we have all heard close cropped a million times and still we love it , BUT what we must remember is that this new album will reach many people who have never even heard the band, and to deny them close cropped, in my opinion would be a mistake both aurally and financially!
It is a f**king killer song.
If the fans already dont want to hear it again then skip the track but lux boys I think you would do yourself an injustice byu not including it, I thingk you have better songs but close cropped is SO immediate.

Does this make sense?

Yeah good point, but in fairness like the guys said it has appeared elsewhere maybe they wana have an album of stuff from the last year or two.

I know any Lux is good Lux but, I have to say again I'd much prefer to hear newer or previously unreleased stuff.
As someone (and I'm sure most people here are the same) who already has the other album, plus all the singles ,I'd not be best pleased forking out hard earned for all the same tunes again, no matter how good they are, or how much I like them.
You mention 'close cropped' ..yes it's a fantastic song .....but I already have 2 different versions, do I want another one? ...well ...no!
And I'm quite sure that any decent promotional stuff will make mention of previously released material including CC no doubt ,that people can get if they want to

I actually agree with you because Close Cropped is one of my favourite and most accessible songs that I think more people should hear, but at the end of the day, I'd rather they made the best album they wanted to.

*grumble*And I was hoping to hear an acoustic cover of Without your Love as a secret track*grumble*
