Hats off to Rob for Music Film Festival No.1 - it was a right treat rounded off by Julien Temple letting us show both his Sex Pistols films for the first time. During Artful, the movie camera had been stolen. I didn't have a camera and had forgotten my tape recorded which is a shame as Julien is one of the most inspiring, REAL people speaking publicly in a long time. I've kinda got the last hour of Halloween in my memory forever though.
He not only captured it, but was part of it. He GOT Artful. Thanks everybody that got involved/interested/came.
At the Q+A it was kinda surreal to see Julien and Rob on two chairs, like they were doing a chat show, at the front of the cinema. Rob's been a great chat show host and film festival curator. I've always thought C:B could do anything. Here's to the future...
