Saturday we're at Lewisham People's Day in Catford. Just a little bandstand, but a lotta lovely people coming out to play on the grass, on the stage and stuff. Sunday is a great sounding day out too. Alfie told Joe C and friends. Joe C passed it on and here it is...

red thread festival on on the 9th july in bonnington square, vauxhall,
and i'm gonna need some help!! it's got a good chance of being fairly
chaotic but it should be a riot if everyone get's on board.. the square
itself is the a really quaint slice of urban bohemia, just south of the
river and well out of the public eye. everyone's invited and it's all
free so START TELLING EVERYONE!!! we ain't gonna do much traditional
advertising so it's up us lot to get a crowd down.. doing it this means
we should only attract cool heads!! the line up so far reads.. LIAM
FROST, THE MONKS KITCHEN, THE BRIAN JACKET LET DOWN, JOHN STAMMERS and
PETE GREENWOOD. plus a load of eccentric locals who wanna do their own
thing! IT'S GONNA BE A GREAT AND UNIQUE DAY OUT! things kick off with a
paganesque animal procession round the square at 2 o'clock, then music
all day. there's beautiful community gardens to lay about in and loads
of random entertainment planned, feel free to get involved, if you wanna

Outdoors is ace in the summer. Getting hold of a generator and some backs of lorries - a bit of shelter. Wish the Urban Free Festival in Deptford's Fordham Park was still around. It started like that but grew so fast that it got stopped. Didnt do bad for Truck Fest mind...

Well, if we can pull off tomorrow fingers crossed can do something next year too.
