London's latest, and therefore obviously premier, purveyors of psychadelicfunkarockandrollmentalism - Shot By Both Sides - unleash more wanton corruption upon an unsuspecting world.
Taking place at New Cross' Basement Bar (at New Cross Venue), this sordid display of immorality boasts three bands, namely;
Luxembourg (Extravagant and alluring 5-piece angular pop, with a similar swaggering spirit to Roxy Music or early Suede)
The Low Edges (Widescreen melodies and Spector-ish atmospherics from band who cite classic novels and folk tales as influences)
Gifthorse (Bedsit glamour and arch, sardonic lyrics from tragic romanticists)
Fraudulent chancers will then DJ psych, '60s garage, northern soul, motown, funk and - cripes - indie until the wee hours.
