Rarely do I buy the NME these days, but a free CD on the cover usually does it. Turn to the letters page, there's a letter slating the state of UK music today, but listing a number of great bands that are out there - first in the list. Luxembourg!! Does anoyone know who this person with fine taste was?

And on Exposure on XFM tonight, a txt read out from someone in Romford (ahem) saying how brilliant the criminally ignored Luxembourg are live. I guess I do know who this person was!

Every little helps I suppose?

It wasn't me on the radio, but I never knew Romford had any other luxembourg fans.


Maybe I should start that club night there after all!

I think I can claim to be one of the first ever Luxembourg fans... but only cos I liked them when they were Grosvenor. And when I say Romford, it's Harold Hill to be exact.

A decent club night in Romford... a good idea... but if you're looking to put live bands on, and want to get Lux down to play, don't let the boys know how near to Brentwood it is, you'll never get them anywhere near it!!!

I'm quite impressed that even in my early 30s, I can post something that makes me sound like somebody saying "I liked them before you liked them" without even intending to.

It's why I lurk on most boards, it's safer by far!!
