they have given us 3.5 days' warning for our mock exams. "only mocks" i hear you all say - but they're used as back up if we cock up in our main exams.... thanks for the warning tutors....

don't worry too much though, i found (all those years ago) micks were a helpful indicator of what i could achieve in the real exams if I worked for it.

heh, which explains why last year i got a 2:1 in the mock and a 2:@ in the real thing hehe

i think they think that us being mature students mostly with jobs as well we don't actually need any warning at all...

Surely, the more warning you're given, the more time they expect you to spend studying for it? If it was a surprise for everyone, you've at least got an excuse for fucking up. Whereas if you're given a year's notice, they probably expect you to fly overseas to do research, redecorate your bedroom as a 'study laboratory' and publish a volume of poetry on the matter.
