GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS! is proud to present melodic genius in pretty packaging, snarling riffs with ruby lips, musicianship and mayhem, and possibly a short skirt or three.
GIRLS!GIRLS!GIRLS! are buzzing to host our headliners, NME favourites The Duloks, as they make their Luminaire debut. ‘Wonderful in the same way kissing in the cold glare of the moon is’ (NME, 2006), The Duloks do electro-indie-rock-comedy better than anyone. And they play dress up every day.
Main support for the night are royal treatment plant who have been creating buzz in the industry on the back of their debut single release ‘Carry Me’ (human condition records). ‘…A fast moving, balls-out celebration of youthful recklessness that nimbly sidesteps cliché…’ (disorder magazine, 2006), royal treatment plant are high octane art rock with soul.
Red Letter Suits hit The Lumi fresh from Newcastle, bringing their ‘strong melodies and catchy pop hooks’ (gigwise, 2005) with them. Red Letter Suits want to liberate your soul and blow your mind. This is exactly what they do best. Rawk.
To begin proceedings we have Rebecca Mosley with her band, giving an acoustic serenade before the loud girls hit the stage. Pretty, clever songs, pretty, clever Rebecca, pretty, clever everything.
