Hello right this is still going ahead I met up with Mark L in central london yesterday we are just putting the finishing touches to what is in my opinion a very well conceived contract that will benefit all parties and hopefully get this compilation out some time in the new year.
Expect to receive a copy in the next few weeks and read it carefully, plus remember we are only asking for an amount of money towards manufacture costs that you will hopefully recoup at a later date through your cd sales.

Again sorry for the wait we want to do this properly. Still waiting on the contract its all done and dusted now me and Mark L have worked on it a pdf will be going out to all bands hopefully soon.

I am sure if it is for a good cause chris wil do it if he is around, I love the T T band but I would like to see him solo as I havent for ages!

Just thought I'd drop you a line to let you know gifthorse are still on board, I see you've selected one of our tracks anyway. Didn't want our absence from the forum to be mistaken for lack of interest. Cool no worries, just a note due to some legal laws we overlooked a slightly changed contract will be going out in the next few days.Apologies but this will be the contract that needs to be signed and returned with a cheque.I shall contact the artists who have already done this.

Yeah, just to clarify what Bill said, we havn't overlooked any laws as such, but due to some issues raised by one of the artists' record companies we are likely going to be making some minor alterations to the contract for clarification and to give added peace of mind to the label and to the artist.

Will this supercede the contract you sent me on 10th December? Is the deadline still 20th January?

Yes it will supercede the previous contract and the deadline has been extended to the end of January to reflect that.

The list of band members should reflect the current line up. However the contract stipulates that you verify you have the necessary permissions to use the track, which would cover permissions from ex band members involved in writing etc.
