See I think that the gig was well advertised and the turn out was very good considering:

-we were up against the England match
-shit loads of gigs going on to compete with
-it was a Wed night

The amount of people in the Turtle, would be a packed out Dublin Castle, Metro Club, or Bull and Gate. It is just a shame the Turtle has so many places for people to hide. It is a high capacity venue, and can look a little sparse at the best of times with the upstairs and the enclosed seating area at the back.

For example, during Pennys' set half the punters chose to sit at the back in the seating area. Luckily more moved forward by the time the sailplanes came on.

Love_Libs did with reference to the reviewer, as if the opinion of anyone over 30 is that of worthless scum trying to get, and I quote, "down with the kids".

For someone who is a spoken word artist (among other things, I know), you're pretty poor at spotting what people are doing with theirs. Please, in future, do not try and tell other people what MY opinions are, as you're very very wrong.

I also gather that, as it happeed, you weren't, after all that fuss, "bad enough being first on the bill", but that it fell to Noseferatu D2 instead. Congratulations, you must be delighted. Solo acoustic acts everywhere are celebrating this momentous achievement.

It's a shame Nosferatu D2 went on first. :-(

To be fair I think they were just happy to be asked to play.

I noticed your playing with Lords down in Brighton next month? No doubt I'll travel down for that.

I know Ben got a copy your EP, is there a way I could order a copy from you? Keep meaning to ask but haven't yet.

I'll PM you Charm offensive ;-)
