Dancer!
Yes I shall be spinning platters that matter,as i believe Rob will be too...and the other boys are going to be there as well so no doubt this night may become quite a 'messy one' ...see if anyone can upstage Mark?
I may ride a Harley into the DJ booth whilst juggling cattle.
I may not.
Come along on Friday to find out.

sorry guys but we're not coming. Off to Bournemouth on Sat and have the sister-in-law coming over so that we can tell her about feeding the cats etc..

and skint. Yes I know it's free entry but the drinks still cost money!

Have a good one though xxx

Fucking Brilliant gig!If it wasnt so sweaty (it was 31 degree's in london yesterday)I would have been down the front! Didnt catch much of Marinetti but The Martha Dumptruck Massacre (all the way from New York) were amazing souundscapes nicked from mogwai and pavement dashed in with ragged glory of sonic youth. William were angular greatness, whilst Nebraska were amazing its criminal that they arent already signed if me and caffy had a label I would sign you up. hehe Full review to come.Lovely to meet Stax, Dexy, Caffy( thanks for her sofa) dirty sounds boys and many more

Thanks so much for making it down bill, and thanks for the drink too!
i can't believe how well last night went, despite the sickening heat and humidity a huge number of people packed out the six string and gave great encouragement and deserved applause to marinetti, martha dumptruck and william.
i was overwhelmed by the reception we received, it was actually very touching.
it's the first time we've ever played a set anything like as long as that (i think it clocked in at just over 55 minutes) and the crowd response was what kept us doing when we were fit to drop (probably somewhere just after the first song!)
all of the people that made last night such a success - djs, bands, caffy, friends, family, FRIENDLY BAR STAFF(!!!), brilliant sound engineer...desrve great thanks.
no egos, no bullshit, just a grand time for all involved. beautiful.
