Hello noaddedsugar, welcome! Are you on AudioScrobbler? I swear I've seen that avatar on there for someone with your taste in music.

I'm not, no, I found this avatar about a year ago on a random images site and nabbed it I think...I have a habit of collecting them and using them as I go along.

It can be found on all the forums I'm on though, but not AudioScrobbler!

I dont know how to do these things.. I could use a dinosaur here..

I'm putting this here because it doesn't deserve its own thread, and it just seemed like the most appropriate thread to do so, despite the topic being the opposite to that which constitutes this. If that makes any sense.

Anyway, you'll be pleased to know that I'm not going to post here any more. What I get from this forum - shared pleasure at Desperate Housewives and the occasional good conversation about music - can be found anywhere else, and while I'll miss that, it's not sufficient for me to bother with all the gay stuff for.

Most of you will be glad that I'm going because you believe that I was part of some shared mission to 'bring the board down'; this is completely false, and if people really believe that I would do such a thing, I can't be bothered with them. I'm used to being able to share objective opinions with my friends, and to be able to disagree with them, without them thinking I absolutely hate them and wish their fathers went bald and starting spitting hairballs, but this is clearly not the case here, and, as I can't see the point in not having discussions which cannot actually be discussions, or in being perceived as some sort of horrible idiot, I can't see the point in being here.

I'm genuinely astounded at the mindsets of some people here. I've never claimed, for example, that I think Iloveculture was always right, and yet I'm labelled an ILC-arselicker just because he's made some valid points and because I can't stand the fact that people were so maliciously set against him. I really cannot understand how you can put yourselves forward as open-minded, sincere people. I was just browsing through the new topics made since I'd last posted, and was amazed to see that Love_Libs' 'title' has been changed to 'i love i love culture', which is clearly supposed to be a dig at Tim, even though he's patently remained impartial, and has made the sole error of being vaguely objective.

Well im sorry you feel that way, and I wish you wouldnt leave I dont think your an idiot far from it, the opposite in fact. But you didnt once back me up against anything he said so in fact I dont see how you were impartial. You constantly took his side whatever he said which is your perogative but it didnt seem fair when clearly at times his behaviour wasnt in line with decency, iand he did disrupt the rest of the forum, for his amusement which wasnt fair either.

Also you actually did actually take things personally afterall because apparently it was never personal.But I see you are not going to talk to me on msn so it must be personal.When Iv known you for years and have never had any problem with you in fact I stil consider you a friend.

Also I dont see how what Iv ever said or done on this forum deserved the forum witch hunt he put me through. Ok im not perfect never have been it doesnt exist also I am prone to changing my mind sometimes but arent we all, and yes there are issues with this zine and forum, and he did have some good points.
And yes he was intelligent and you and Tim may like his taste in comedy and music fair enough that doesnt give him the right to treat other users the way he did.

He was clearly asking for too much for example just examining his last thread about me it was mostly a series of distortions held together by a misguided vision of me, its ok to criticise but these were highly personal attacks. It was also a thread that contained attacks for things that I couldnt change like the subject matter that people post in or the intellectual debate they conduct. Lastyly the reason he left was not for his criticisms they were due to his flagrant abuses despite repeated warnings. ILC wasnt banned for stating an opinion which everyone is entitled to do he was banned for abusing the forum, so for the betterment of it I feel he should be banned, as a punishment, regardless of whether he was going to leave.

Also I didnt change Love libs signature he did that himself he should change it back really as far as im concerned the matter is closed.

Of course I came back to address any comments that were raised in response to what I posted; I thought Bill would reply and believe that he deserves a response to anything he says. It's natural courtesy, I would've thought.

Bill raised these issues, not me. I replied because it was the thing to do, not because I had any burning desire to discuss my personal relationships in front of everyone.

So...that was a nice try in suggesting that I'm trying to ruin anything, but my good intentions here were clear. If anything, I was self-effacing rather than -obsessed.

If the admin want to delete my account, that's more than fine, but obviously I can't do that myself. Moreover, any attempt I've made to have my account changed in negative way has proved less fruitful than a drought season. I don't think Bill would delete my account, though, so you'll have to trust that I genuinely have had enough of this and won't be coming back. Unlike...er...well, you.
