Don't laff but we saved up coins for three months to get a Freeview box. Only most of the time there's no signal and I really get into stuff and then you can't use it. Is it because we got the cheapest one? Is it because of the weather (well, some of our mates reckon it might be). Have tried their suggestion of pushing the cables / antenna in firmly. Its great that FilmFour is great now. All we have to do next is be able to see it! At the moment, it wasn't free and there's no view! Oh well, I suppose it saves me being less of a couch potato champion! (but any hints welcome!)

When you bought it, were you asked for your postcode? There are some areas (admittedly few) that still can't get the signal, and so the boxes don't work in such areas. Cheap box might also be a problem, although I got mine for £15 and it hasn't misbehaved...

Mine works fine, although it does throw a bit of a wobbly if the weather is bad - flickering and such.

It worked okay when I was in halls so I wouldn't have thought the area is the problem. You are from round Deptford/Lewisham right Caffy?

I'm enjoying the Film Four addition; 'Double Indemnity' was on the other day biggrin.gif

Thats probably it. Bad weather, cheap box and Deptford combined. Mind you, I'd probably never go out if it worked. Jealous I am!
