Trying to sell this guitar and amp locally at the moment but just wondered if anyone on here is interested.
Epiphone Dot 335 (Gibson copy), Cherry Red. Around 2 years old. Really nice low action and a brilliant guitar, I'm only selling because I can't justify having two guitars when I hardly play either anymore. Looking for around £250.
Fender Deluxe 90 amp. 90watt Solid State, single Celestion G12T-100 speaker. Overdrive channel is a bit crappy but Clean sounds amazing; doesn't distort even at the highest volume. Built in effects inc. authentic sounding Fender spring reverb. Complete with footswitch. Looking for around £200.
PM if interested.

I would have been interested in the amp as I need one you see, but at 200 quid, ouch I can't afford it right now, what with one thing an another....

Does the epi come with a hard case?
B1oodFlower- 07-24-2006
That epi is sexy...

Nah I don't have a hardcase with it. Just a bog standard gig bag.

I've just spent £190 on flights to Rome, and £80 on hostel accomm. If I enjoy a windfall in the next few days, I'll be in touch RE that guitar, it looks lovely.

I'm not interested in buying, mainly because if you cut me in two you'll find the word "Fender" written through me like a stick of rock, but I had one of these in tobacco sunburst about 8 years ago and it made for a very good rhythm guitar if the action was set quite high. And the pickups are superb. The same as those on the Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe, I believe.

I just dont get on with epiphones at all, even the high end ones. I like the old jap stuff, wouldnt mind a gibbo 335.

I really can't tell the difference between this and a Gibson 335.

Oooh has this post descended into shameless guitar geekery?
In which case, let me share this beast I've just ordered: Piccy Electrical Guitar Company custom 500- it's like a modern-day Travis Bean 500, and will sound quite evil
LiamMc- 07-26-2006
I love a bit of guitar geekery. With the proceeds made from the hopeful sale of this guitar and amp I'm thinking of sticking a Kent Armstrong Motherbucker in my Fender Tele; and maybe buying an Orange amp
That looks very, very nice Tim by the way.

I think there was one of those in my tele when I got it. Either that or a SD hotrails. Really high output pickups have their place (try the Johnny 5 tele, it's surprising fun!) but I find they drain alot of the subtlety from your playing.

I love the look of that John 5 tele. And my playing isn't exactly subtle to start with!
