Can't believe we've got this far without a favourite songs thread!

What Lux songs could you eat with a spoon, and what are your favourite live songs?

I personally can't enough of Mishandled and have been known to listen to it on repeat. I think it's absolutely stunning, David's vocals are beautiful and them's some lovely, multi-layered lyrics. Could be the soundtrack to a breakup, could be a war call, could be another Lux f#ck you to everyone. Gorge-arse.

Live I love I Need A Little Bit More...for the ace singalongs that it tends to inspire. Although apparently David hates this song! Argh! Nor, you're wrong! Also love LvGB live, rallying the Lux tribe together and it gives Alex and Rob a bit of a vocal how's-your-father. I also like the fact that David goes a bit theatrical when performing it.

One of my favourite Lux live moments was the acoustic at the Windmill when Jon had the lurgy and they did We Are the Resistance. Alex and Rob screaming down the mics by the end- acoustic rockundroll baby, yeah!

I do love Close Cropped though, it's always one I give the Lux converts!

The b-side "About Time" from LvGB is beautiful too, it's heartbreaking.

Hmm. At the moment (keeps changing though, depending on my mood) my favourites are: Let Us Have It, Success is Never Enough (especially the "and I will tell the truth one day..." bit), Faint Praise, Close-Cropped, LvGb, Mishandled, Housewives, Relief... I could go on to list every song (that I've heard) so I'll stop there.

Haven't had the pleasure of seeing them live, so can't comment on that...
