Corporation:Blend don't sound, think or behave like other bands. Intelligent rock that's confusing and impressing an increasing number of people in the know, they've spent much of this year creating more amazing, non-forumulaic pop tunes (some of which appear on an forthcoming EP release) and stunning new audiences with the kind of explosive live show that has won them a devoted following. With their allies, they've helped kick off a punky renaiisance of riotous new clubs, art and alternative music media/industry.
In one year of touring (with Do Me Bad Things, Martha Wainwright, Art Brut, The Bluetones, The Rakes, Johnny Panic, New Rhodes, Queen Adreena and more), Corporation:Blend have gained a reputation as one of rock's finest new comers and developed rapidly into a fresh kind of thrill. This spring they took their D.I.Y to large venue support slots, where they previewed some of their new songs to great response (and in some cases, fear?).
Although largely unknown outside the underground or word of mouth, C:B were recently shortlisted by MTV as one of Europe's most promising new talents. When caught live though, it all makes sense and with the imminent release of their new EP their continuing rise is assured. Seriously not to be missed. Corporation:Blend live:
