Ever get the feeling you've been cheated? We do.
Pop music has been treated appallingly over the last few years, and we're all to blame.
Is it any wonder that corporate clones and copycat pseudos dominate the column inches and airwaves? We've let them get away with it.
Well, enough is enough. Here at Dogbox, we've decided to save pop, or die trying.
BLUE SKIES UP: WELCOME TO THE NEW POP REVOLUTION
Combining the choicest cuts from the Dogbox kennel with deleted gems and must-have rarities from some of this year’s hottest rising stars, Blue Skies Up, released May 15 2006, is a compilation to put most of today’s so-called independent artists’ studio albums to shame – a genuine pop alternative that gives you back the right to decide for yourself.

Dogbox: The bare bones
Dogbox Records was founded in 2004 by two teenage girls fed up with the mainstream pop pap foisted upon them. It has grown up to be one of today’s most respected and exciting independent labels, releasing underground singles by artists such as Luxembourg, The Bridge Gang and Swimmer One.
With its first major release of 2006, Dogbox is going overground. Welcome to the New Pop Revolution!
PRAISE FOR DOGBOX. WOOF!
“Definitely something VERY interesting going on here...” (Playlouder)
“The superb Dogbox brought us The Bridge Gang and Luxembourg, a couple of the best acts of 2005. Expect a lot more from this kennel...” (Take Your Medicine)
“I love Dogbox Records. They’re aiming for the complete overhaul of the UK music industry with a brace of ear-popping singles. Fair enough.” (Kitten
Painting)
“Dogbox continue to delight and surprise with their beguiling unique pop offerings.” (God Is In The TV)
“It’s quite odd, but I like it.” (Gideon Coe, 6Music)
Blue Skies Up: Welcome To The New Pop Revolution is released on Monday 15th May 2006.
I am looking forward to this night!
Will Martin Rossiter be at this one?
