Should he go and go now for the good of the country and his party?Or should he set a sensible date for his leaving of number ten? Or do you think he should hold out the the bitter end.

Personally I think he should go now, I think Brown would make a better opponant for Cameron who in my estimation is mishandling his pr spin, by making himself out to be Blair mark 2 (ie reshaping his party, moderate, centerist, green ect) he is becoming exactly what people have had enough of with Blair. Brown has the conviction, the policies and he may be boring but I believe he would make a good PM, he's about delivery not image.

Anything but David Cameron, he'll be in Koko next! The man is a cunt of the highest order.

AndyP- 09-08-2006
David Cameron has already been to Koko here was there to get down with kids watching Radiohead.

B1oodFlower- 09-08-2006
Burn KOKO to the ground!!!

Blair going whithin the year now anyway. I love how Brown is being painted out to be the assasin now, both sides are spinning like crazy.

Love_Libs- 09-08-2006
Doesn't really bother me at the moment, the whole thing is going to cause disruption to the Labour election plans and voters' concerns, and then David Cameron will have a head to head with one or the other.

Young radiohead fans are his target market I guess!

Did radiohead play Koko?
Was he really there! When was that!

AndyP- 09-11-2006
It was a Friends Of the Earth gig and wasn't quite Radiohead but Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood Friends Of The Earth

alexliamw- 09-18-2006
To be fair, Thom Yorke did actually send out invitations to Cameron, Ming Campbell (now that would have been amusing if he'd gone), and Gordon Brown. The only stupid thing Cameron did was send back a letter requesting Fake Plastic Trees and claim that they played it because he had asked (which Yorke then came out and specifically denied).

David Cameron is so incredibly clueless and haphazard, it's dangerous. If he ever gets into No.10, I'm going to become a politician. Or a ninja, so I can kill him with stealth, guile and one of those throwing star things.

I got home from school in time to watch Blair's speech. It was an excellent speech, it had me fooled for a few minutes. Perhaps a bit teary eyed... But it was mostly lies and romanticised opinions. It's madness for him not to go now -- the time between now and May is basically a vacuum. We're just waiting for him to leave so we can all move on.

B1oodFlower- 10-02-2006
Yeah it was a good speech, but like you say it was soaked in spin, and rose tinted spectacles. Cameron is making a miscalculation if he thinks we want Blair Mark 2, he's very much style over substance at present, I'm not even convinced by his centerist rheotoric personally, you don't write a right wing manifesto in 2005 and suddenly become a moderate in the space of 18 months, its all a ploy to appear more liberal.

Personally I'm sick of all this image obsessed nonsense, who cares who's wife is better looking, or who has the best suit? The question is who can deliver for the country? And for me Gordon Brown has delivered more than most in this government so he probably deserves a go. Even if his speech

Move on? You make it sound like a romantic relationship. In which case he'd be a bit of wife beater wouldn't he?

Backhanding the public over Iraq every five seconds. Christ I can't wait till the man is out of office so I can try and remove the slimey feeling of having even been from the same species. Quick someone pass me the soap! (If that doesn't work I'll move onto the bleach and possibly the petrol/lighter combo)

I am sorry but, whilst I am no fan of blair I prefer him to Cameron anyday.
Death to the Cunt slowly and horribly!

Blair- he should just go now.

Brown- I used to be a big fan, now I'm not so sure. I think it's perhaps too late for him.

Ming- I know Kennedy needed to sort out his alcoholism, but I really liked him. Ming was only ever good for foreign policy questions on "Question Time".

Cameron- Whenever I see him I can't help but laugh.
